A combination of education and technology, EdTech defines the software and hardware designed to improve teacher-led learning system and the outcomes of students’ education in classrooms.

Although still in the early phase of development, EdTech has already shown immense growth in the form of a method that can customize the curriculum as per the ability of students.

How EdTech Works?

The EdTech creators highlight the potential of improvement of the software that can free up the teacher from teaching and turning a facilitator. With the constraints in time, it is tough for a teacher to complete the entire curriculum, keep a track on slow learners and keep the brighter children engaged with work.

By automating the ability assessment and adjusting difficulties, EdTech can lead to better results for individual students and the class as a whole. Many of these technologies are cloud-based. And then, a majority of them are dependent upon educational research to set algorithm for how rapidly and slowly a student can advance toward learning objective.

EdTech Limitations

With a rise in technology, there are equally elevated concerns regarding EdTech. Most of the people fear that in the future, an almost entire curriculum could be managed by software.
