All-New Creta 2020 Launched at Rs.9.9 Lakhs

Hyundai Motor India just launched the newest updated version of Creta as an addition to its SUV Range. Creta, one of the country’s most popular SUVs, has already has been selling like hot cakes in the Market.

Despite the panic about Coronavirus, within a day of its launch on March 16, 2020, the all-new Creta sold over 4.70 lakh units just in the Indian market. Over 1.90 lakh units have been exported. This was a big come back for Creta as its sales had fallen since the launch of Kia Motors’ Seltos.

A report recorded S.S. Kim, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India saying that after a five-year journey, the king (Creta) is back. Since its first launch in 2015, Creta had been the benchmark for aspirational buyers and has revolutionised perception about SUVs in India.

The all-new Creta is launched at an introductory price of Rs.9.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The price is the same for both the Petrol and the diesel variant. The updated Creta is a powerhouse with a brand new dual-tone black and beige cabin, alloy wheels, grill and three-part LED headlamps.

It also comes with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with the Advanced Bluelink Connectivity System, a 7.0-inch instrument cluster and digital display. It also has the most envied Bose sound system with 8 speakers and Flat-bottom steering along with tyre pressure monitoring system.

The all-new Creta comes with three driving modes i.e. Eco, Comfort and Sport. It also has traction control modes for Snow, Sand and Mud for smooth driving in any condition. It has a 105L petrol engine and 1.5L diesel engine with 6-speed manual transmission and automatic transmission. Additionally, it also has 1.4L turbo petrol engine with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).
