The objective of ABSL Frontline Equity Fund is long-term Capital growth from a Portfolio that constitutes 100% allocation towards equity instruments across various sectors. Some of the best points of this scheme are an investment in promising companies across industries and wealth creation with equity investments. The scheme uses S&P BSE 200 as its benchmark index to build its portfolio. As on March 31, 2018, some of the top holdings of ABSL Frontline Equity Fund’s portfolio included HDFC Bank Limited, ICICI Bank Limited, Infosys Limited, and Larsen Toubro Limited. Mr. Mahesh Patil is the sole fund manager of Aditya Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund.

SBI Blue Chip Fund

SBI Blue Chip Fund is managed by SBI Mutual Fund. This open-ended large-cap Mutual Fund scheme was launched on February 14, 2006, and uses S&P BSE 100 Index as its benchmark to construct its portfolio. The objective of SBI Blue Chip Fund is to attain long-term capital growth by Investing in large-cap stocks whose market capitalization is not less than the last stock forming part of its benchmark index. As on March 31, 2018, some of the top 10 holdings of SBI Blue Chip Fund included Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, ITC Limited, Nestle Limited, and Hero Motocorp Limited. The fund manager managing the SBI Blue Chip Fund is Ms. Sohini Andani. The scheme is suitable for investors seeking exposure in blue chip Indian companies from a medium to long-term perspective.
