Bajaj Auto launched a new version of Dominar in March 2020. The Indian Market has always been fond of Bajaj bikes for its resistance and durability. According to Bajaj Auto, the new Bajaj Dominar 250 is the ideal choice for riders wanting to be part of the tourer category. The engine is similar to the popular 250cc KTM Duke. The bike is available in two colours namely Canyon Red and Vine Black.
The new Bajaj Dominar 250 comes with a smaller 250cc engine. The all-new bike is priced at Rs. 1.6 lakhs (ex-showroom-Mumbai).
The all-new version is cheaper than the older 400cc version by Rs. 30,000.
The new Bajaj Dominar 250cc produces 27PS power. It is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke fuel-injected engine. It runs on 248.77cc engine and 23.5Nm torque at 6500rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The look is quite similar to the company’s 400cc version. However, the new bike has smaller tyres and regular rear-view mirrors. The bike has aa muscular-looking fuel tank, digital instrument cluster and LED headlamp set up along with a small windscreen.
Bajaj Dominar 250 has wheels with disc brakes and dual-channel Abs. Moreover, it comes with a front-wheel that has telescopic USD forks suspension with 135mm travel and the rear wheel has multi-step adjustable Monoshock with Nitrox. The bike has a wheel stroke of 110mm and twin-barrel exhaust with alloy wheels. The bike’s kerb weight is about 180kgs.
Its competition is KTM 250 ad Suzuki Gixxer 250, Husqvarna Vitpilen 250, Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Yamaha FZ25.
