David Warner Becomes 5th Highest-Paid Cricketer in IPL 2020David Andrew Warner is an Australia cricketer and the former captain of the Australian National Team. He has been the vice-captain across Test and One Day International (ODI) formats for Australia. He is the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 and also the fifth-highest player with a salary of Rs. 12.50 crores
this season.
In 2017, he became the fourth player to win the Allan Border Medal. In 2019, he scored the second-highest individual score with 332 not out against Pakistan. This was the second-highest individual score of any Australian team. He is the first Australian cricketer in 132 years to be selected for a national team in any format without any experience in first-class cricket.

Warner played for the Delhi Daredevils for 2009-10 seasons. In 2011, he became the first cricketer in the history of IPL to score consecutive Twenty20 hundred with an unbeaten 135 against Chennai Super Kings with an unbeaten 123 against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
After the 2014 IPL auction, he joined Sunrisers Hyderabad. In 2015, Warner became the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad and he ended the seasons with an Orange cap. He captained the team in IPL 2016 where he led the team to its first championship with 69 runs off 38 balls in the final against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Warner finished IPL 2015 with 848 runs. It was the second-highest in the tournament that year.
In 2017, Warner marked his third century in IPL with 126 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders. The same year he was rewarded with the Orange cap for the second time. He finished the seasons with 641 runs. In 2018, he was retained as the captain for Sunrisers Hyderabad, but stepped out due to the ball-tampering allegations. In 2019, Warner played for Sunrisers Hyderabad once again. He scored 85 runs off 58 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders. However, the team didn’t win the match. He played against Royal Challengers Bangalore and made his fourth IPL century with 118 runs. He was the leading runs scorer that season with 692 runs at an average of 69.20. He was awarded the Orange cap for the third time.
He has been reinstated as the captain for Sunrisers Hyderabad for the IPL 2020. Warner has also played for the Bangladesh Premier League. He was contracted with Sylher Sixers.
David Warner and his pair with Shane Watson have been the most successful opening pair in T201I history. Warner also became the first batsman to score three centuries at the WACA. In 2015, he became the third batsman in the history of Test cricket to score centuries in both innings of a test match thrice. The other two batsmen to have achieved this feat were Sunil Gavaskar and Ricky Pointing.
