जमा फंड हे एक प्रकारचे कर्ज असतातम्युच्युअल फंड जे सहसा लघु ते मध्यम परिपक्वता पेपरमध्ये गुंतवणूक करतात. ही कागदपत्रे मध्यम ते उच्च प्रतीची असतात, तर परिपक्वता येईपर्यंत सिक्युरिटीज ठेवण्यावर लक्ष केंद्रित करतात. हा फंड आदर्शपणे देऊ केलेल्या कूपनच्या बाबतीत व्याज उत्पन्न मिळविण्यावर केंद्रित आहेबाँड. जमा केलेली फंड खरेदी-विक्री धोरणाचा अवलंब करतात आणि बँक एफडीच्या तुलनेत चांगले परतावा देण्यावर जोर देतात. हे फंड क्रेडिट-जोखीम घेतात आणि जास्त उत्पन्न मिळविण्यासाठी किंचित कमी-रेट केलेल्या सिक्युरिटीजमध्ये गुंतवणूक करतात. शिवाय अक्रुअल फंड भांडवली नफ्यातूनही उत्पन्न मिळवू शकतात, परंतु त्यांच्या एकूण उत्पन्नाचा हा एक छोटासा भाग आहे.

ओपन-एंड मध्येडेबिट फंड श्रेणी, दोन प्रकारचे लाँग टर्म बॉन्ड फंड आहेत -

1. क्रेडिट संधी निधी

क्रेडिट संधींच्या फंडांच्या तुलनेत कॉर्पोरेट बाँड फंडांमध्ये कमी जोखीम असते. हे फंड केवळ उच्च प्रतीच्या कागदपत्रांमध्येच गुंतवणूक करतात. तसेच, कॉर्पोरेट बाँड फंड्स क्रेडिट संधी फंडांसारखे कोणतेही क्रेडिट जोखीम घेत नाहीत. रेट कट सायकलच्या शेवटी किंवा रेट कपातची अपेक्षा असताना हे फंड एक आदर्श गुंतवणूक असू शकतात.

जर कर्जाच्या गुंतवणूकीचा कालावधी 36 महिन्यांपेक्षा कमी असेल तर त्यास अल्प-मुदतीच्या गुंतवणूकीमध्ये वर्गीकृत केले जाते आणि त्या व्यक्तीच्या कर स्लॅबनुसार आकारले जातात.

लाँग टर्म कॅपिटल गेन्स (एलटीसीजी)

जर कर्ज गुंतवणूकीचा कालावधी 36 महिन्यांपेक्षा जास्त असेल तर त्याला दीर्घ मुदतीच्या गुंतवणूकीमध्ये वर्गीकृत केले जाते आणि इंडेक्सेशन लाभासह 20% दराने कर आकारला जातो.
