Similar to two-wheelers, the road tax for four-wheeler calculated by considering the vehicle’s original cost. Currently, the vehicles road tax stand at 8% to 12%. For instance, if an individual purchased a vehicle in Rs. 4 lakh, then road tax of Rs. 28,000 will be attracted.
