Nippon India Gold Savings Fund (Formerly Reliance Gold Savings Fund)

From October 2019, Reliance Mutual Fund has been renamed as Nippon India Mutual Fund. Nippon Life has acquired majority (75%) stakes in Reliance Nippon Asset Management (RNAM). The company will continue to run its operations without any change in structure and management.

Nippon India Gold Savings Fund (earlier known as Reliance Gold Savings Fund) was launched on March 07, 2011. This scheme is a type of Gold Mutual Fund that aims to attain its objectives by investing in RShares of Gold BeES. Nippon India Gold Savings Fund aims to segregate its investment pattern after conducting an in-depth analysis of macroeconomic events that impact the gold prices at both domestic as well as international level. Payal Wadhwa Kaipunjal is the sole fund manager of Nippon India Gold Savings Fund. She holds an overall work experience of 12 years in ETF fund management.
