American Express Credit Card Payment

Following are a few ways to pay your American Express Credit Card bill:

a. NEFT

Pay your Amex credit card bills through the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) option. Note the following details:

• Payee: American Express
• Payee Account Number: 37XXXXXXXXXXXXX (Make sure to put your complete 15 -digit Card number starting with 37)
• Bank Name: Standard Chartered Bank
• IFSC Code: SCBL0036020
• Payee Account Type: Current

b. UPI Payment

You can also opt for the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) option. Use your mobile banking app or BHIM and pay. Note the following details:

American Express UPO VPA is AEBC37XXXXXXXXXXXXX@SC. Remember to enter your 15 digit card number starting with 37.

c. Online Payment

You can also pay your Amex card bill online from your bank account from anywhere in India. You can use a Debit Card powered by RuPay, Unified Payments Interface Quick Response Code and UPI.

d. Direct Debit / NACH

You can also enrol for direct debit by filling the cardmember Charge Card - Direct Debit enrolment form or Credit Card - Direct Debit enrolment form. Amex will deduct the amount every month on the due date from your account through the National Payment Corporation Of India's National Automated Clearing House.

e. Courier

You can also pay through cheque/draft made in favour of AEBC Card No. 37XX XXXXXX XXXXX. American Express should receive it at least 4 working days before the due payment date so that your credit card payment is done timely. This way you can also avoid any penalty charges.
