Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) is an integrated mobile application for accessing all public services from a single point. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and National e-Governance Division (NeGD) developed and operated this multilingual software to accelerate mobile governance in India.

This app was launched in November 2017 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Users can access e-Government services from the central, state, and local governments. By using this app, you can get all documents, services, and transactions in one place. The app is free for Android, iOS, and Windows phones and can be accessed via the internet, SMS, and IVR.

UMANG App Registration Process

Guidelines

UMANG App for EPF Withdrawal

If you wish to take money out of your PF, you can use the UMANG app to file a claim. The procedure is outlined below in detail:

• In the search bar, enter 'EPFO'
• Select 'Employee Centric'
• Click 'Raise Claim'
• Enter EPF Universal Account Number (UAN)
• Enter OTP received on your mobile
• Choose withdrawal-type
